Awards Payment Detail reset to zero after upgrading to Payroll Premier 2014/15

Question

Why are my Awards Payment Details reset to zero after upgrading to Payroll Premier 2014/15?

 

Answer

Upgrade your file again and on the Review employees on this Award screen, select No.

 

The Issue

This issue occurs when you manually update the Statutory Super rate in an Award from 9.25% to 9.50%.  This change is followed by a screen allowing you to review the employees on this award.

Clicking the Yes option will result in the Payment Detail for this Award to be reset to zero. 

Clicking the No option causes no problem.

This is a problem in the software and Reckon apologizes for the inconvenience its causing. 

 

Workaround

Upgrade the file again.

After changing the Statutory Super rate from 9.25% to 9.50%, select No for the screen Review Employees on this Award
