Report intervals cannot be changes to fiscal calendar

Question
Why cant I change the 'date range' to my 'tax year' ?Answer
The Date range cannot be changed to tax year when you subtotal a report into yearly columns. The Yearly date range is hard coded for a Jan to Dec calender year.
If you need to change this to a July to June year:
The preference for using the fiscal year in reports are related to the 'report date' settings not the 'report intervals'.
