Leave Loading is not showing in Taxable Pay field on Payslip

Legacy KB ID: 1202

Question

Why isn't the Leave Loading being included in the Taxable Pay field on the PaySlip, once the tax free threshold has been reached?

Answer

Once the tax free threshold of $320 has been reached for leave loading, any extra leave loading paid should be taxable, and should be added to the taxable pay field on the payslip. When printing payslips as 1 or 2 per page Reckon Accounts is calculating the tax correctly, but showing the wrong figure in the taxable pay field.

To display the taxable pay field correctly you will need to use 'Full Page' payslips.

To do this;

1) Choose File menu > Printer Setup.

2) Click on 'Pay Slip' in the 'Form Name' field.

3) Under the 'Style' heading select 'Full Page'.

4) Click 'Ok' to save the changes.
