Run-time error 6 overflow when opening POS Terminal

Question

Why can’t I open my POS Terminal?  I get the error: Run-time error ‘6’: Overflow

Answer

Overflow errors generally relate to a corruption in the source code of the application.  Your POS Terminal did not install properly or an installed file has become corrupted.

Solution

Uninstall POS Terminal and reinstall.

If POS Terminal is on the same PC as the POS Administrator you will need to uninstall POS Administrator as well.  When reinstalling, select the option Administrator and Terminal. 

If the problem persists, reinstall in Safe Mode.
