Runtime Error 94, Invalid use of Null.

Question

When the POS system is first loaded an error message is encountered. Details of the message are; "Runtime error 94, Invalid use of Null". Due to this error message the system also cannot be registered.

Answer

1. Click on the "Start" menu.

2. Click on "Run"

3. Regedit

4. Click on Hkey_Current_User -->Software --> VB and VBA Program Settings --> ReckonPOS --> Database.

5. On the right hand window of Registry Editor, delete database path.

6. Restart PC.

7. Follow prompts to register POS.

If this does not work go into Windows Explorer and Find the QuickPOS.PDB. Rename it to QuickPOSOld.PDB then open QuickPOS Administrator to recreate a new POS database (PDB).

WARNING: If you have laybys in ReckonPOS Administrator you will lose the data if you do this. If this is the case please call our support desk for help. Also, if you have a keyboard layout you want saved go into the ReckonPOS Keyboard Options and Copy your keyboard layout before proceeding. You will then be able to copy this file into your new QuickPOS.PDB.
