Super does not display figures for current pay on a payslip

Legacy KB ID: 4386

Question

Why doesn’t the Super for the current pay not show on the payslip.

Answer

You may experience this issue on 1 or 3 per page payslip format when the Super Item’s Payroll Liability account has an Expense account selected.

The Super item displays correctly on a 2 per page payslip format.

Workaround 1:

Use a 2 per page payslip

Workaround 2:

Re-assign the Super Item’s Liability Account field to a Payroll Liability Account like Payroll Liabilities:Super

1.    In the Payroll Item List, right-click the Super Item and select Edit Payroll Item;

2.    Click Next a couple of times to get to the Agency for company-paid liability

3.    Replace the Liability Account field with a Payroll Liability account like Payroll Liabilities:Super;

4.    Click Next a few times to get to the end of the setup process and then click Finish;

5.    If applicable, refresh past pays by deleting the Super item and re-entering it to have the amounts already processed re-assigned to the new payroll liability account.
