Legacy KB ID: 3343

Question

Why do I receive an error when starting POS terminal or when copying the keyboard layout from one terminal to another?

Answer

The above-mentioned error can happen when you have multiple terminals each with a touch keyboard display setup, and you try and copy layout in the touch keyboard section, 'From another terminal' tab.

To remedy:

1- Close down all POS terminals.

2- From POS administrator select the Tools drop down menu and then Compact and Repair the Database
