How do I get the Epson TM T-88V Intelligent receipt printer to work with Reckon POS?

Answer

Download and install the TMVirtualPortDriver830b driver.

The Issue

The default driver that ships with the reeipt printer is not adequate for the needs of Reckon POS.  A newer driver is available from Epson.

Detailed Instructions

1.    Close Reckon POS;

2.    Download the latest driver (TMVirtualPortDriver830b) from Epson: https://download.epson-biz.com/modules/pos/index.php?page=prod&pcat=3&scat=36&pid=36

3.    Follow on-screen instructions to install;

4.    Launch Reckon POS and configure the receipt printer.
