Reckon Accounts icon does not respond when Screen Resolution magnified to 150%

Question

Why doesn’t Reckon Accounts launch when I click on the Reckon Accounts icon?  My screen resolution has been magnified to 150%.

Answer

When screen resolution is set to levels outside the resolution Reckon Accounts has been configured for, irregular responses may be experienced. 

 

Workaround

Launch QuickBooks from the Programs menu:

1.    Start > All Programs > Reckon Accounts.

2.    Double click your version of Reckon Accounts – e.g.

Reckon Accounts Premier – Accountant Edition 2012-13

 

Windows Explorer Alternative:

1.    Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Intuit\Reckon Accounts 20**

2.    Double click on QBW32.exe, or for an industry edition

a.    QBW32PremierAccountant.exe
