Removing Shared Folder Access in Reckon Accounts Hosted

Question

Please find below instructions on how to either remove yourself or an employee's access to a shared folder or remove an external user's access from a shared folder that you gave them access to initially.


Please note: To complete these steps, you must be a Hosted "Owner" or "Administrator"

Answer

How to remove shared folder access to a folder I have access to or one of my employee's have access to:

1. Log into Reckon Accounts Hosted

2. Click "Control Panel"

3. Click "Manage Users" on the left pane

4. Click the blue user ID of whom you wish to remove a share folder(s) from

5. Click "Manage User Folder Access" at the very bottom of the page

6. Click "Delete" next to the shared folder you no longer wish the relevant user to access anymore

How to remove shared folder access to an external user from a shared folder you own:

1. Log into Reckon Accounts Hosted

2. Click "Control Panel"

3. Click on "Manage Shared Folder Access"

4. Select a single folder from the Shared Folders list and click "Add", then click "Next"

5. The user's with existing access will show in the "users to have access" list box. To remove access, select one and click "Remove"

6. Click "Next" and "Update Access" to complete the operation
