BAS form format is unknown. This file will not be saved or exported

Question

Why do i get the message 'BAS form format is unknown. This file will not be saved or exported' when trying to save the BAS?

Answer

This message will appear if you don't have the 'Include GST on BAS' option selected in the BAS Configuration screen.

To reslove this;

1) Click the Config button in the Simplified BAS.

2) Tick the 'Include GST on this BAS' box and click OK.
