Reckon Accounts freezes or crashes when accessing a form like Invoice or Adjustment Note

Question

Why does Reckon Accounts freeze or crash when I try to launch a form like Invoice or Adjustment Note?

Answer

This problem is predominantly experienced on a Windows Vista PC with a company file that has been upgraded from an earlier version of Reckon Accounts.  It can be experienced on any operating system and on any company file.

The problem can occur with any entry form, but it will be experienced on that form type only.  Other form types will function properly.

 

Workaround-

1.    On the View menu, select One Window. 

2.    On the Customers Menu, select the option for your form and it should open normally.
