BOQ BankData - You dont have permission to request bank feeds for this account

Question

When downloading BankData transactions why do I get the error:

Getting transaction summary error

You don’t have permission to request bank feeds for this account.  Please check the Branch code, Account Number or Yodlee ID in the Bank Account set-up.

Answer

Regardless of the BSB number of your bank account, enter 124001 in the Branch Code field of the Online Bank Details.

 

The Issue

The Bank of Queensland uses only one BSB number for electronic transfer of transaction information – 124001.

Although you entered your correct BSB number in your BankData application (eg: 124012), the Bank changes that number to the generic number in the transfer of information to Reckon.

 

Solution

  1. Lists > Chart of Accounts > right click your bank > Edit > Online Bank Details tab
  2. In the Branch Code field enter 124001.
  3. Click Save & Close
