Unable to login to GovConnect after my password change in Reckon Accounts Hosted.

Legacy KB ID: 5693

Question

I have just changed the password for my Accounts Hosted Login, however I’m unable to login to my GovConnect STP portal with my new login. How can I login again into the STP portal?

Applies to:

Reckon Accounts Hosted users, if you have recently changed your Hosted login password.

Answer

Use the same previous login details for Govconnect STP, as the new password for Hosted doesn’t flow through to STP Portal.

Or alternatively, change the password for the GovConnect STP via Portal.

Detailed steps.

Although on your previous setup, you were able to use the same Hosted login details on your STP Portal, any subsequent password changes for Hosted does not reflect on STP Portal.

Therefore, you can use the same previous password for STP as you have been using or you can change the password for GovConnect STP portal as well via Portal login page. Please See KB 5692 for more details.

Additional information:

If you are using Google SSO or Microsoft SSO (SSO = Single Sign-on), your password is derived from the respective provider, .ie Google or Microsoft. You will have to change the password from there.
