Additional fields within reports

Question

When I select additional fields from the columns within reports, they don't seem to be appearing. Why is this so?

Answer

Certain fields are restricted to certain reports. Therein some fields (like tax code and tax amount) will not appear on all reports. Instead these fields may appear blank or be linked to several transaction lines at the same time.
