Price Level list report not showing the new price level on report

Question

Why is my new Price Level not showing on the Price Level List?  I deleted a number of old Price Levels and there are not more than 100 Price Levels in my list.

Answer

Reckon Accounts has a limit of 100 for Price Levels. Once that limit is reached you cannot add any more Price Levels.

Reckon Accounts only monitors whether the limit has been reached.  If you subsequently delete Price Levels to make way for new ones, the new ones will not be displayed on the Price Level List as QuickBooks will ignore any new ones created after the limit level has been reached.

Workaround

Do not delete a Price level.  Rename and reset a no longer used Price Level.
