Why does the balance for the Australian Taxation Office in the Supplier Centre not match the balance on an Accounts Payable Fast Report?
Answer
The amount shown next to the Australian Taxation Office in the Supplier Centre is the balance owing to that supplier. A Fast Report on a supplier will only tally payments to the supplier.
To confirm the balance shown in the Supplier Centre, click the total shown on the Fast Report to open the Custom Transaction Detail Report that will correctly show all transactions split into a Debits and Credits column with the final balance corresponding with the balance in the Supplier Centre.
The Australian Taxation Office Fast Report is structured differently to the Fast Report on an ordinary supplier. You may wish to confirm the figures for the Australian Taxation Office with your accountant or bookkeeper.
