The month of the Expiry Date on a Credit Card always changes to 12

Question

Why doesn’t Reckon Accounts accept the correct expiry date?  Why does the month always change to 12?

Answer

This problem will occur when you have your Region and Language Option set to an English other than English (Australia).

 

Workaround

Change your computer’s Region and Language Option to English (Australia).

1.    Close Reckon Accounts;

2.    Windows Start Button > Control Panel > Region and Language;

3.    Under the Formats tab in the Format box, select English (Australia);

4.    Click OK to Save;

5.    Open Reckon Accounts.
