No payroll features available

Question

When I go to my employees navigator in QuickBooks 2003 I have no payroll features.

Answer

This means the payroll feature is not turned on. To turn on the QuickBooks payroll features;


  1. Go to the Edit drop down menu and select 'Preferences'.
  2. In the Preferences screen select the 'Payroll & Employees' icon and then click on the Company Preferences tab.
  3. In the Company Preferences screen there is a field titiled 'QuickBooks Payroll Features', select the 'Full Payroll Features' option.
  4. Click OK, the Employees Navigator will now display all payroll features.
