What's New - Reckon Accounts 2022 R1
Reckon Accounts Hosted for AU is generally released in late June to include tax & budget updates.
Reckon Accounts 2022 R1 contains exciting new features and enhancements requested by our customers, as well as bug fixes.
New features
Remittance Advice retains the last used template
The Remittance advice will now remember the last used template after printing or emailing.
Links functionality added to more transaction types
The Links functionality added last year has been expanded to the following transaction types:
- Sales Orders
- Estimates
- Transfers
- Deposits
Send Forms window added with 'Remove All' button
A 'Remove All' button is added to the Send Forms window allowing users to quickly clear and remove all outstanding forms to be emailed without being sent.
Compliance update (AU)
Employer email address is now mandatory for STP lodgement
The Employer's email address is now required to be present during STP Lodgement.
Without the email address, the STP file cannot be exported from Reckon Accounts.
To set up the Email ID:
- Go to Company > Company Information...
- Enter the Email address
State payroll threshold update
Victoria
The Payroll Tax Threshold for Victoria is updated to $700K and 4.85%
Resolved bugs
Email Service Connection issues with "Hotmail/Outlook.com.au" webmail
The email settings for Hotmail/Outlook has been updated to a new SMTP server with a new Port and Server Name.
- Server name: smtp.office365.com
- Port: 587
Overlapping text when creating a backup within an Accountant's copy file
The Note label on the Save File:Type window above "Options" button was adjusted.
'Files not found' error when opening or launching Forms
The following error affected Reckon Accounts 2021 - Manufacturing and Wholesale Edition when launching the following:
- Customer return materials Authorisation form
- Non-Comforting Material Report
- Damaged goods log
This has been resolved.
Large window size for Non-Inventory items when editing
When editing a Non-inventory type item, the window is very large and out of the window frame whereas other Item types are fine. This has been resolved.
Job Costing Centre redirect is not working
The issue affects Reckon Accounts Premier: Contractor Edition 2021 when opening the Job Costing Centre but the browser does not launch. This has been resolved
"Page not found" on the link of "ATO Guide To Depreciation"
ATO has updated the URL to a new redirect link. This has been updated.
'Adobe Acrobat not detected' when trying to print GST 101 report
The issue occurs when the Adobe reader installed is a 64-bit version. This has been resolved to be detected.
SDK changes
The changes below apply to third-party integration providers.
Added <IsTaxIncluded> for Bill Credit
The Reckon Accounts SDK now allows sending of Gross amounts to Bill Credit transactions.
