Username not accepted when logging into the new Reckon Accounts Hosted.

Legacy KB ID: 5158

Question

When logging in for the first time, I am asked to create a UserName.  When I use the UserName I used to login on the first screen I get a message that it is not acceptable.  I cannot proceed.

Answer

The logon screen asks for your Username, but accepts either your 9-digit UserID (1234567-1) or a unique UserName you previously created.

If you have not created your unique UserName previously, you will be prompted to create one the first time you log onto the new Reckon Accounts Hosted.

Until a unique UserName is created, only your UserID will be accepted.

When you have created your unique User Name, you can use either the UserName or UserID in the username field.

Your unique UserName can be used on any Reckon Online product, like Hosted, Reckon One or BankData.
