This can happen when the screen resolution is set to a size too small for Quickbooks to run.
To change the screen size:-
1) Right Mouse click on Desktop, and choose properties.
2) Choose settings and change your resolution to a minimum of 800x600.
3) Click OK and follow the onscreen prompts.
4) Run Quickbooks after the screen has changed sizes.
