“To be emailed” box on the Invoice form is not ticked automatically.

Question

Why is the “To be emailed” box not ticked on the Invoice form when I have selected the customer to receive by email?

Answer

This situation will occur if you have:

  1. Ticked the Automatically tick the “To be emailed” check box if customer’s Preferred Send Form Method is Email in Edit > Preferences > Send Forms > My Preferences.
  2. Selected the Preferred Send Form Method as Email in Customer > Additional Info tab.
  3. BUT, did not enter an email address for the customer.

 

Solution

Enter the customer’s email address in the Customer > Address Info tab > Email, then click OK to save.
