Configuring Employee Title Field Correctly For Payday Filing

In Reckon Accounts and Reckon Accounts Hosted, the employee title field is a free text field. However, the IRD only accepts certain entries for PayDay uploads. Therefore, if an Employee has an invalid title, the IRD will reject the upload.

For example, Mr is a valid title, but if the Employee has Mr. (with a fullstop) entered in the title field, the PayDay upload will fail (and detail which employees have invalid titles).

Go into each employee record and enter a valid title:

1. Go to the Employee Centre

2. Select the employee which has an invalid title

3. Double-click to edit

4. Enter the correct title

5. Repeat steps for other employees

The only valid titles the IRD will accept are below:

Captain
Colonel
Dame
Doctor
Honourable
Honourable Doctor
Judge
Lady
Lord
Major
Master
Miss
Mr
Mrs
Ms
Mx
Professor
Reverend
Reverend Father
Reverend Mother
Right Honourable
Right Reverend
Sir
Sister
Wing Commander
