Attempting a Post or Transfer from QuickPOS they will get an Error code 15 – Could not open specified data file

Question

I get an error code 15 - Could not open specified data file when I try a post/transfer.

Answer

This only happens when you have a password on your Reckon Account data file. To prevent this error from occuring ensure you have logged into your Reckon Account before performing a Post or Transfer from QuickPOS.
