Question

Why do my statements take a very long time to print?

Answer

When using QuickBooks Premier or Enterprise in multi-user mode, the speed of printing statements is substantially reduced. 

Printing will complete much faster in single user mode.

Workaround

When doing large print runs, switch the file to single-user mode.  Ask all other users to exit QuickBooks and either:

·         allow you to run the print job in single user mode; or

·         copy the company file to your local PC and work from that copy.
