Reports do not refresh after modifying a transaction

Legacy KB ID: 5006

Question

Why don’t my reports refresh correctly when I drill down to a transaction and make a modification?

Answer

Set Refresh Preferences to Prompt.

The Issue

You may experience this issue when you have your Reports Preferences set to automatically refresh.  Your transaction will show the new details, but the order of transactions may change and some other transactions may be dropped from the report.

If you click on the Refresh button the report is displayed correctly.

Workaround

Set Report Preferences to Prompt to Refresh.

1.    Edit > Preferences > Reports & Graphs > My Preferences >

2.    Under Reports & Graphs, click on the Prompt me to Refresh button.

3.    Click OK to save and close

When you change a transaction on a report you will be prompted to refresh the report – click Yes.
