Question

How do I upgrade from a trial version to a full version?

Answer

To upgrade from a trial version of Reckon accounts to a full version, the trial version must be uninstalled and the registry keys removed. To do this;

1) Select Start menu > Settings > Control Panel.

2) Double click 'Add or Remove Programs'.

3) Select QuickBooks and click 'Change/Remove'.

    Follow the Uninstall Wizard to remove the Reckon accounts trial version.

Once Reckon accounts has been removed;

4) Select Start menu > Run.

5) Type 'regedit' and click 'Ok'.

6) Double click 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE' > Software > Intuit > QuickBooksRegistration.

7) Right click '13.0' and select Delete. Click 'Yes' to delete the key.

8) Close Registry Editor and install Reckon Accounts current version.
