View and edit your details in Reckon Mate

Learn how to use the Reckon Mate app to view your leave balances and pay slips, and view and edit personal details you've registered with your employer.

Before using Reckon Mate

Before you can use Reckon Mate, your employer needs to invite you from within Reckon One or the Reckon mobile application, and you'll need to have a Reckon account. If you are new to Reckon when invited, you will receive an invitation email that asks you to verify your employment. You will then be prompted to create a Reckon account.

Download and sign in to Reckon Mate

  1. Search for Reckon Mate on your iOS app store or Google Play store:

Alternatively, scan this QR code from your device.


  1. Tap Sign in, then enter your Reckon email and password. If you don't remember your password, click on the Forgotten password link and enter your email address.
If you've been invited to self-onboard, you'll see an invitation to set up your profile.

View and download pay slips

You can view and download payslips as PDFs from Reckon Mate:

  1. Go to My pay at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Select one of your last 5 pay slips, or to view earlier pay slips tap View all, then:
    1. Select a pay slip from the list, or
    2. Select Pay date to filter pay slips by date.
  3. Tap on the pay slip to bring up the pay details.
  4. To download a PDF copy of your pay slip, tap on the download icon on the top-right of the screen.

View and edit your details

To view or edit your details:

  1. Go to Details at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Use the tabs at the top of the screen to view general, employment, tax, banking and superannuation details.

You can edit your general and banking details only. Select the relevant tab and select Edit.

If you wish to change your employment, tax, or superannuation details, you'll need to contact your employer.

View leave balances

  1. Go to Leave at the bottom of the screen to view leave balances.

Manage push notifications

To turn on push notifications:

  1. Go to Settings at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Tap on the Push notifications toggle.

To turn push notifications off, tap the toggle again.

Enable biometrics

To enable biometrics on iOS devices:

  1. Go to Settings at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Tap FaceID.

Add or edit your profile photo

To add or edit your profile photo:

  1. Go to Settings at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Tap on your avatar next to your name (if you haven't uploaded a photo before, this will be your initials in a coloured circle).
  3. Choose a photo from your gallery, or take a photo.
  4. You will need to grant camera permissions to Reckon Mate to use the device camera.

Access help from the app

You can access our help documentation from the app:

  1. Go to Settings at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Select Help & Support.
  3. Select Reckon help website.

Use the app to contact your employer

To call your employer from the app:

  1. Go to Settings at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Select Help & Support.
  3. Select Contact [Employer's name].
