Error 7027 or 7146 and a crash when opening Quicken or running a report

Answer

This is related to correuption of the file structure and can be fixed by using the Copy function to create a new set of datafiles from the old set.

1. Go to the File || File Operations pulldown menu and select "Copy"

2. Change the filename to something you are happy with and click OK
