Why do I get the message "you do not appear to have a valid license key" when I renew my license?

Answer

To start the activation process again do the following.

i. Close Reckon Accounts Personal and reopen it again, you should be prompted to activate your product once you have opened up a company file. Simply follow the prompts displayed on your screen.

If the above did not work for you try the following.

ii. Open your data file in Reckon Accounts Personal and go to the "Help" menu then select "Register" or "Renew or Upgrade" and follow the prompts on your screen.
