Reckon Mate FAQs


Q: I have downloaded & installed Reckon Mate app but I don't know my login details.

A: Your employer has to invite you via the Reckon Payroll app. Once invited, you will receive an email prompting you to set up your account and download Reckon Mate. Refer to this help article to learn more about the employee invitation to Reckon Mate.


Q: As the Reckon Payroll user, I cannot sign into Reckon Mate with my Reckon Payroll app credentials.

A: As Reckon Mate is an employee centric app and allows the user to view their personal pay details, you need to be set up as an employee in Reckon Payroll and be invited in order to use the Reckon Mate app. After you are invited, you can sign into Reckon Mate with Reckon Payroll credential and view your own pay details.


Q: Employees who have downloaded Reckon Mate have left the business. Can they continue to use Reckon Mate?

A: Your employees can continue to sign in to Reckon Mate until you have either archived their employee record, or revoked their access from Reckon Payroll. Refer to this help article to learn how to revoke employee access.


Q: I have created the pay run in Reckon Payroll however my employee could not see it from Reckon Mate.

A: Ensure that the pay run is complete and marked as "paid". Pay runs in draft status are incomplete and will not appear in Reckon Mate.


Q: As a employee using Reckon Mate, I found that one of my payslips is missing or has incorrect details. Who do I contact to clarify the issue?

A: All Reckon Mate payroll data comes from the Reckon Payroll. Please contact your payroll administrator (aka the person who invited you to use Reckon Mate) for support.


Q: I am a Reckon One Payroll user. Can I invite my employees to use Reckon Mate?
