Payroll Premier: Super YTD on the payslip does not update after editing a pay

Legacy KB ID: 5320

Question

Why does the Super YTD not change when a pay is edited that affects the super payment?

This issue is a symptom of a corrupt file.

Solution:

The easiest fix is to attempt to rebuild the company file.

  1. Go to File, then select Rebuild Data Files.
  2. Create a backup (include Reports).
  3. On the Rebuild Data files screen tick all boxes except “Change Super Percentages”.
  4. Click OK.
If the problem persists, delete pays back to the last correct payslip and enter YTD figures.
  1. Identify the last pay with a correct payslip
  2. Record total details of all component paid from that pay
  3. Generate a Pays Report
  4. Reports > Pays > Current > change dates
  5. Select the Employee and Print the Report
  6. Go to the Employee’s record > History tab
  7. Delete pays from the latest to the first with the problem
  8. Click on Insert YTD and complete the form with sub-totals printed in Step 2.
  9. Click OK to complete.

Your payslip should now show the correct Super YTD.
