Street1 column on Employee Contact List does not show full details

Question

Why doesn’t QuickBooks show the full entry for Street1 column in the Employees contact List?  It is properly entered in the Employee Record.

Answer

You will experience this issue if your entry for Home Address in the Employee Record is more than 20 characters.

QuickBooks does offer 2 lines for the address – these will be listed as Street1 and Street2 on the Employee Contact List.

Each line cannot have more than 20 characters.

Workaround

In Employee Record > Personal > Address and Contact > Home Address > Address, set your address over 2 lines.

Eg. 123 Mooloolaba Connections Road

Should be set to:

123 Mooloolaba

Connections Road
