Runtime error 53, file is not found when posting the End Of Day transactions

Question

Why do I get the message "runtime error 53, file is not found" while posting the End o

f Day transactions to Reckon Accounts (the Reckon Accounts data file located on the network.).

Answer

The current data path on the Reckon Accounts is different with the path showing in the data file filed in the POS Administrator will cause this problem.

1. Open the Reckon Accounts

2. Click on 'file ->open company' and change the path to the one showing in the POS Administrator.
