How to prepare for Single Touch Payroll Phase 2 - mobile app

You can now start updating your existing employee's and payroll settings so they will be compliant with STP Phase 2. Any changes you make will not impact how your payroll information is currently submitted to the ATO under the existing STP requirements. The changes can be made using either the app or web version of Reckon Payroll.

What you need to do

STP Phase 2 will affect employees, earnings, allowances, and leave. You will need to review all of these items to see whether adjustments need to be made before you switch to STP Phase 2.


Ready Checklist

We recommend logging into Payroll Web (payroll.reckon.com) on your computer to access our STP Phase 2 Ready Checklist which is the easiest way to prepare your business for the switch to STP Phase 2.


Mobile app

Using the mobile app, you will need to check and update each employee, earning, allowance, and leave item individually. The following pages provide instructions on how to find and update the STP Phase 2 options.
