No Sound when Preference selected to turn on Reckon Accounts Personal sounds

I have ticked Turn on RA Personal sounds in Edit > Preferences, but no sound is played. Why?

Your computer is not configured to play sounds.

Detailed Instructions

1. Close RA Personal

2. Start > Control Panel > Sound > Sounds tab

3. The Sound Scheme shows Windows default

4. Beneath the Program Events box, tick the option Play Windows Startup sound

5. In the Program Events box, scroll down to Quicken, highlight an item under Quicken and click on Test to test the sound.

6. You can if you wish would change the sound by clicking the dropdown arrow in the Sounds box and making a select.

7. Click Apply to save the changes

8. If you wish you can save these settings as a separate Sound Scheme by clicking on Save As and giving it a name.
