Server authentication error login application when logging onto Reckon Accounts Hosted

Question

Why can’t I login to QuickBooks Hosted?  I get the error: “Server authentication error login application”.

Answer

You may experience this problem if:

·         You did not close your browser after your last Hosted session;

·         You did not log out of your last Hosted session properly

 

Workaround

Follow each step until the issue is resolved. 

  1. Close your web browser (close all tabs and not just the QuickBooks Hosted tab), relaunch and try again;
  2. Log onto Manage Your Account and log-off any remote session.
  3. If you cannot log onto Manage My Account, call Technical Support who will log off your remote session.
