Revoke employee access to Reckon Mate from Reckon Payroll mobile application


You can revoke the employee access to Reckon Mate from within the Reckon Payroll app. There are several reasons why you would want to revoke an employee's access;

  • the employee is no longer employed in your business,
  • the invitation was sent to an incorrect email address, or
  • the employee do not use Reckon Mate.
The employee will not be able to sign in to the Reckon Mate mobile app once their access is revoked. If access is required, you will need to re-send the invitation from Reckon Payroll mobile app. Refer to this help article to learn more about inviting employees to Reckon Mate.

Revoke employee access

  1. Sign in to the Reckon Payroll app.
  2. Tap on Employees from the bottom of the screen. Select the invited employee whom you wish to revoke access to Reckon Mate.
  3. Tap on the Reckon Mate tab then tap on Revoke access button.
  4. A dialog box will appear asking to you confirm the revoke action. Tap Revoke to proceed or Cancel to exit.
  5. Another dialog box will appear when the "revoke access" process has completed successfully. Tap Ok to close the dialog box.
  6. The employee invite status will return to "Not invited".
    You can send the email invitation again if you wish to invite the employee to use Reckon Mate. If they have already set up their Reckon account previously, they will be able to sign in to Reckon mate immediately after you have sent the invitation.
