Manage Reckon Mate invitations in the payroll app

Learn how to view and manage Reckon Mate invitations in the payroll app.

Check an employee's invitation status

To check the status of an employee's invitation:

  1. Go to Employees at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Choose the employee from the list.
  3. Swipe to select the Reckon Mate tab.
  4. View the status beneath the Reckon Mate box and buttons.

The statuses are:

  • Not invited
  • Invitation sent (this means the invitation has been sent, but not yet accepted)
  • Full access (the invitation has been accepted)
  • Invitation expired (the invitation link has expired, which occurs after 7 days).

Resend an employee invitation

You may need to resend an employee invitation that has been sent but not yet accepted, or that has expired:

  1. Go to Employees at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Choose the employee from the list.
  3. Swipe to select the Reckon Mate tab.
  4. Select Resend invitation.

Withdraw an invitation

To withdraw an invitation that has been sent but not accepted, for example, if an invitation has been sent to the wrong email address:

  1. Go to Employees at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Choose the employee from the list.
  3. Swipe to select the Reckon Mate tab.
  4. Select Withdraw invitation.

Revoke employee access to Reckon Mate

Reasons to revoke an employee's access to Reckon Mate include when:

  • the employee is no longer employed in your business
  • the employee does not use Reckon Mate.

To revoke access:

  1. Go to Employees at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Choose the employee from the list.
  3. Swipe to select the Reckon Mate tab.
  4. Select Revoke access.
  5. A dialog box will appear asking you to confirm the revoke action. Tap Revoke to proceed or Cancel to exit.
  6. Another dialog box will appear confirming that access has been revoked. Tap OK to close the dialog box.
  7. The employee invitation status will return to 'Not invited' and the employee will be unable to sign into Reckon Mate.

If the employee requires access again in the future, you will need to send a new invitation from the payroll app. They will be able to sign in to Reckon Mate immediately after you have sent the invitation, using their previous login details.
