Manage Reckon Mate invitations in Reckon One

Learn how to view and manage Reckon Mate invitations in Reckon One.

Check an employee’s invitation status

  1. Go to Payroll, then Payroll settings.
  2. Go to Reckon Mate invitations.

Employees will display in groups depending on their invitation status:

  • Pending invitations (invitations that have been sent where the employee has not yet actioned the invitation email). These will show a status of:
    • Invited
    • Expired (where the email link expired before the employee set up an account)
  • Not yet invited
  • Accepted invitations

Resend a pending or expired employee invitation

You may need to resend an employee invitation if the invitation has expired.

  1. Go to Payroll, then Payroll settings.
  2. Go to Reckon Mate invitations.
  3. Select Resend next to the employee’s name in the Pending invitations list.

Withdraw a pending invitation

To withdraw an invitation:

  1. Go to Payroll, then Payroll settings.
  2. Go to Reckon Mate invitations.
  3. Select Withdraw next to the employee's name in the Pending invitations list.

If after an invitation to Reckon Mate is withdrawn, the employee clicks the Activate account link in the original email, they will see a message indicating that the link has expired. You can choose to send a new invitation if needed.

Revoke an accepted invitation

An employee who has accepted a Reckon Mate invitation will continue to have access unless you revoke it. Archiving or terminating an employee in Reckon One won't revoke access to Reckon Mate.

To revoke access:

  1. Go to Payroll, then Payroll settings.
  2. Go to Reckon Mate invitations.
  3. Select Revoke next to the employee's name in the Accepted invitations list.
  4. The employee will no longer be able to log in. If they attempt to do so, they will see a message stating: "You don't have permission to access Reckon Mate."

To restore access, simply re-invite the employee. They won’t need to verify their email or activate their account again — they can log in using their existing email address and previously set password.
