Invite employees from the payroll app to view and edit details in Reckon Mate

Learn how to use the payroll app to invite employees to view and edit their details (including viewing payslips and leave balances) in the free Reckon Mate app.

You need to invite your employees to Reckon Mate before they can use it. This article describes how to do this from the payroll app. You can also invite employees to Reckon Mate from Reckon One.

There's a different process for inviting new employees to self-onboard via Reckon Mate.

Invite an employee to Reckon Mate

To be invited to Reckon Mate, an employee needs to have an email saved against their employee details.

To send a Reckon Mate invitation:

  1. Select Employees at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Choose an employee.
  3. Swipe across to select the Reckon Mate tab.
  4. Tap Send email invitation.
  5. A pop up message will display, confirming the invitation has been sent.
  6. Tap OK.
  7. An email will be sent out to the employee to download the Reckon Mate app.
  8. The invitation status will show Invitation sent
  9. Once the employee has accepted, the status will show Full Access

Using Reckon Mate

Employees can learn about viewing and editing their details in Reckon Mate.
