Incorrect report date range after selecting "Last [xxx]-to-date

Legacy KB ID: 1817

Question

Why is my report showing an incorrect date range after I selected the date range "Last [xxx]-to-date"?

Answer

In Reckon Accounts , the date range specified by "Last [xxx]-to-date" ends on the date or day within the selected period that corresponds to the current date or day. "Last [xxx]-to-date" is not the same as "Last [xxx] through today."

For example, if you run a report on Monday, March 10, 2004, and you select "Last month-to-date" as the date range, the report will cover February 1 through February 10, 2004. The ending date corresponds with the date the report was run (March 10), but in the last month, which was selected as the date range. Similarly, if you select "Last week-to-date," the report will cover Sunday, March 2, through Monday, March 3, 2004, because the report was run on Monday. It will show information from last week up to the corresponding day of last week

To see information for specific dates, enter the date range in the From and To fields on the report.
