Accounts Business crashes when mapping data for import.

Question

Why does Accounts Business (formerly QuickBooks) crash when I am mapping data from an excel file to import into my company file?

Answer

You must first click on the field name in the left column and then click the dropdown arrow for the box.

The Issue

If you click directly into the field of a line in the right-hand window of the Mapping Window, Reckon Accounts will crash.

To avoid this behavior, you must follow this procedure:

1.    Click on the field name in the left-hand Reckon Accounts column.  This will activate the box in the right-hand Import data column.

2.    Click the down arrow for the box to show the options available to you.

3.    Select the field.
