How to give technical support access to your Reckon One book for troubleshooting

At times when contacting Reckon for help with your Reckon One book, the tech support representative may ask for permission to access your book and view the data to assist with the problem you may be having. This guide takes you through the process of sharing your book with Reckon technical support.

First, load the Reckon Portal and find the tile of the book you wish to share with technical support.

In our example, we are using the book named Customer Book. Once you have find the tile, click the three dots in the top right hand side.

Please note that you are only able to share books with Reckon technical support if you are the owner. Books which have been shared with you cannot be shared with Reckon technical support. You will need to ask the owner of the book to follow this guide.

Once you have clicked the three dots, select the Share with option and then Support.

Once you have clicked the Support option, the above dialog will appear. Please read the legal disclaimer carefully before deciding if you wish to continue. If you would like to grant Reckon technical support access to your book, click the I agree to the terms above and grant Reckon Technical Support access checkbox. The Grant Access button will then become available. Click that button to complete the process.

Once you have completed the process, a summary dialog will appear informing you that Reckon technical support now has access to this book. By default the access will remain for 30 days. You are able to revoke Reckon technical support access at any time by following the guide linked in the dialog.

You can easily determine if Reckon technical support currently has access to your book by looking at the tile. If a support person icon appears in the top left corner, support currently can access this book for support purposes.

Congratulations, Reckon technical support now has access to your book for further technical assistance.
