Question

How do I find out who the Admin of the company file is, and what their username may be for the company file?

Answer

Reckon Accounts company files have an internal user list that will always list the Admin User in brackets.

To find this user-list, follow these steps:

1. Open the data file with whichever company data file username allows you access.

   

2. On the Reckon Accounts desktop software, click on the Company drop-down, then select Users, then select "Set up Users and Roles".
   If you do not see this option, select "View users". In this menu, you will be able to determine the Admin user by the (Admin) tag next to a username.

   

   

3. You will be able to see the (Admin) tag next to the Admin user, as well as any logged-in users.

1. Open the data file with whichever company data file username allows you access.

   

   

2. On the Reckon Accounts desktop software, click on the Company drop-down, then select Users, then select "Set up Users and Roles".
