Cause

In the new platform, the default printer is set to DCV Printer, and the default Paper Size is Letter. This differs from the previous A4 default and can cause layout misalignments. Additionally, logging off resets the paper size back to Letter, even if it has been changed to A4.

This is currently under investigation.

Workaround

Option 1: Change the Paper Size on your Template

To correct the issue for a specific template (e.g. Tax Invoice):

  1. Go to List > Templates
  2. Select and edit your Tax Invoice template
  3. Go to Additional Customisation > Print tab
  4. Select "Use specified printer settings below for this Tax Invoice"
  5. Set the Paper Size to A4 (210 x 297 mm)

Option 2: Update the Paper Size on the Printer Setup

To correct the issue for a specific form (e.g. Tax Invoice):

  1. Go to File > Printer Setup.
  2. Select the Tax Invoice form.
  3. Click on Options next to the printer name.
  4. In the Printer Properties window, click Advanced.
  5. Under Paper/Output, set the Paper Size to A4.
