The selected paper size is not supported by this printer error when emailing an invoice on RAHv2 R4

Question

Why can’t I email my invoice on Reckon Account Hosted?  I keep getting the error: “The selected paper size is not supported by this printer”.

 

Answer

Set Printer customisation on your invoice template for one of the pre-defined paper sizes.

 

The Issue

You will get this error when your Paper Size configuration for your printer on your customised invoice is set to a custom size and not one of the pre-defined paper sizes on offer.

Emailed forms must be one of the predefined sizes on offer.

 

Solution

Change the Paper Size in the Print tab of Additional Configuration of your customised invoice template

1.    Open an Invoice and select your customised template

2.    Click on Customise and then Additional Customisation

3.    Click on the Print tab

4.    Click on Use specified printer settings below for this Tax Invoice

5.    In Paper Size, choose one of the pre-defined sizes (do not select Custom)

6.    Click OK and OK to complete.

Your invoice email should now process without any errors.
