My backup file disappears from the New Reckon Accounts Hosted

Question

The backup file I created before I finished my last session is no longer there.  I saw it on the Q drive before I closed Hosted.

 

Answer

The file is lost.  Save backup files to the B drive.

 

The Issue

File storage in the New Reckon Accounts Hosted has been reorganised.  Users now have a Q drive for working files and a B drive for backups. 

Although you can save backup files (standard backups *.QBB and compressed backups *.QBM) to the Q drive, you will not be able to retrieve them.

Q drive is configured to show only working files (*.QBW, *.TLG, *.ND, *.INI, export files).  B drive is configured to show only backup files.

 

Solution

Save backups to B drive.
