First digit of date disappears when using large fonts on Windows XP

Question

Why doesn’t the date show properly when I select to use large fonts in Windows XP?

Answer

When a font size larger than the ‘normal’ size is selected on a Windows XP PC, some date fields that have a limited size may not have enough space to display the full date.  The first digit of the date will be dropped. 

Workaround

Revert your display settings back to ‘Normal”
