Why I do I get the below error when I email from Reckon Accounts using the Outlook V2 option?
Error message: Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {0006F03A-0000-0000-C000-000000000046} failed due to the following error: 80080005.
Outlook V2 is available from Reckon Accounts 2020 R2 onwards.
Answer:
You will get this error message if your Microsoft Outlook installation is corrupted and Reckon Accounts cannot connect to Microsoft Outlook to send the email.
To resolve this issue, you will need to repair your Microsoft Office. Click here for instructions from Microsoft.
After repairing your Microsoft Office installation, you should be able to send emails from Reckon Accounts.
